Johnson County Speech Language Therapy offers personalized speech and language services for children ages 18 months to 12 years—offered in your home, at your child’s preschool or daycare, or through teletherapy. In-Home Therapy

Parents are encouraged to be present and hands-on during sessions. This provides an opportunity to observe and model strategies, helping you learn exactly what works best for your child.
Teletherapy
Our teletherapy services bring high-quality speech and language therapy directly into your home—virtually. Whether you live in a rural area, a busy city, or anywhere in between, teletherapy offers consistent, flexible support tailored to your child’s needs.
We use engaging, research-based strategies to make virtual sessions effective and interactive. Families enjoy the convenience of accessing services from home, with scheduling that fits into busy routines.
Our therapists are fully licensed to provide services in both Kansas and Missouri, so you can feel confident knowing your child is receiving care that meets all professional and state requirements.
How We Can Help
Speech & Language
Evaluations
We provide comprehensive evaluations to assess your child’s communication strengths and needs. Each evaluation includes a written report with individualized recommendations and, if appropriate, a treatment plan tailored to your child.
Individual Therapy
Therapy sessions are typically 30 to 45 minutes long and may take place in your home, at your child’s preschool or daycare, or via teletherapy, depending on what works best for your family.
Therapy is goal-directed and always focused on meaningful, functional progress.
